Past Events 2013 - 2014
Special Olympics Nevada hosts year-round fundraising events in order to support the sports training and competition opportunities provided to almost 3,000 Special Olympics athletes at no cost to them or their families. 2014 Past Events
February 28 - March 2, 2014 - Blazent Celebrity Winterfest
This action packed weekend brought together corporate teams for a little friendly head to head racing down the slopes of Diamond Peak Ski resort! Check out what is in store for the 2015 Event scheduled for the weekend of March 13, 2015
February and March, 2014 - Polar Plunges
Our plunges raised over $430,000 with more than 1,800 participants! If you missed it this year, you'll want to be a part of it next year! Dates and locations are confirmed for 2015. Check it out!
August 27, 2014 - Bowl for the Gold Las Vegas
Whether you threw strikes or gutter balls, bowling with Special Olympics athletes was a blast! Check back soon for 2015 date!
September 27, 2014 - Pedal to the Medal
Over 420 riders participated in this fifth annual event. Riders selected a 25 mile rider, a 50 mile ride or new this year, a century ride. While riders enjoyed the great ride, families had fun at the bike rodeo with the opportunity to test out some adaptive bikes. Check back for 2015 date.
October 10, 2014 - Over the Edge
Special Olympics is taking fundraising to new heights, when daring souls raised funds for the change to rappel down the outside of Planet Hollywood. Over $90,000 raised for Special Olympics Nevada programs.
November 14, 2014 - Bowl for the Gold Reno

February 17, 2013 - Cupids for Poker
Players enjoyed "tag team" poker with proceeds benefiting Special Olympics.
October 19, 2013 - Color Me Rad Fun Run
This event brought a tsunami of colors to participants.
