Who do I make checks out to?
Special Olympics Nevada
Who selects which athletes will participate?
SONV programs staff will coordinate with the appropriate area director/s and coaches when selecting athletes to participate.
How does an athlete guarantee an invitation to participate?
While SONV makes every effort to include as many athletes as possible the only way to guarantee an athlete will be invited to participate is for a pre-registered team to request them on their registration
Why should I participate
The funds raised will help Special Olympics continue to positively impact the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our sports programs encourage self-confidence and self-esteem, while our school programs promote acceptance and respect for everyone. Through our Healthy Athletes program, athletes are educated on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. All our services are provided free of charge which is why your support is so important.
