Golf

Sports Season: September – November

Golf is a precision club and ball sport, in which competing players use many types of clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a golf course using the fewest number of strokes. The game is played on golf courses, each of which features a unique design, although courses typically consist of either nine or 18 holes.

Learn More About Golf

We believe it is important for our coaches to receive certification training in order to provide them with the tools needed to help our athletes have a positive sports experience. By taking the online certification training, coaches will learn best practices when approaching sports training with our athletes. Certification is required for certain coaching situations and is recommended for all coaches. Please also make sure to check out the SONV Rules and the USGA Rules for Golf (below)

Initial Certification Training

This training is for you if you have never taken a certification course online or in person!  You may also take this entire course to recertify.

Re-certification Training

If your certification is expiring soon or expired within the last year, take our re-certification quiz to keep your certified status
